The World of Puppetry Tour
The Center for Puppetry Arts Museum offers exciting and engaging tours that provide an in-depth look at the Center's fascinating exhibits. Our guides will teach you about puppets from around the world in Puppets: The Power of Wonder, how puppets are made through The Art of Puppet-Making, and the life and legacy of Jim Henson through our Jim Henson exhibits.

Tues - Fri @ 1pm and by special request for groups of 10 or more. 45-60 minutes in length.

The Life and Legacy of Jim Henson
Take a special, in-depth guided tour of the Center's exhibits dedicated to Jim Henson. Learn more about Big Bird, Sir Didymus, Kermit the Frog, and other characters you know and love. Explore the technological innovations that Jim Henson and his collaborators have contributed to the art of puppetry, film, and television.

Sat and Sun @ 2pm and by special request for groups of 10 or more. 45-60 minutes in length.

The Magic of the Center Tour
Ever wonder how the Center for Puppetry Arts creates puppet magic? The Magic of the Center Tour will give you the full experience with a special behind-the-scenes peek at the largest non-profit organization in the United States dedicated to puppetry. You'll visit our Puppet Workshop where we design and build our puppets, the Scene Shop where our talented staff builds scenery for the puppet shows you love, our climate-controlled Museum Storage where we house all of the puppets that are not on exhibit, and our comprehensive Library devoted to puppetry.

Sat and Sun @ 11am and by special request for groups of 10 or more. 45-60 minutes in length.

Adults, Children - $ 8.25
UNIMA Members - $8.25
Free to Members or with full-priced show admission.

Guided Tours:
Guided Tour Combo Ticket (all-inclusive ticket plus a guided tour) - $11.25 for Members and $18.50 for non-Members
Guided Tour Ticket Only - $2 for Members and $10.25 for non-Members
$6.25 per person for groups of 10 or more.


FREE Museum Thursdays!
Visit our Museum Exhibits free of charge every Thursday from 1-3pm.

Fulton County FREE Museum Saturdays
Free admission to our Museum Exhibits for Fulton County residents, students, and government employees the first Saturday of every month!
